Privacy notice: HiFi Union waitlist
Who is responsible
HiFi Union is developed by Göktuğ Aral, based in the Netherlands. He decides how the data described here is used (the "controller"). Contact: hello@hifiunion.app.
What we collect when you join the waitlist
- Your email address (required).
- The campaign tags of the link you came from (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), if the link carried them.
- The date and time you joined.
The form reads nothing else from your device. The site sets no cookies.
When you open the home page
Your browser loads files from Google (Firebase, which also stores the waitlist) and from the Tailwind CSS content network. As with any website, they receive your IP address in order to deliver those files. Firebase's code also keeps a small technical record of its own version in your browser's storage.
The home page also runs Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits in total: which pages are opened, from which country, from which website, and on which kind of browser and device. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and does not track you across sites or visits. Cloudflare receives your IP address to deliver its script and does not use it to identify you. We see only totals, never an individual visit. The privacy notice page itself loads nothing from a third party.
Why, and on what basis
- To invite you to the HiFi Union beta and to tell you when HiFi Union launches.
- The visit totals, to see how many people find the page and where they come from.
For the waitlist, the legal basis is your consent, which you give by joining (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); in Türkiye, KVKK Art. 5(1)). You can withdraw it at any time. For the visit totals, it is our legitimate interest in knowing how the page is used, in a form that does not identify you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Who else receives it
Google (Firebase) stores the waitlist for us as our processor and may process it outside the EU and Türkiye under its data processing terms. Cloudflare produces the visit totals as our processor, under its own data processing terms. We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to remove it or the waitlist closes, and no longer than 12 months after HiFi Union's public launch.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, withdraw your consent, or object, by emailing hello@hifiunion.app. We answer within 30 days. You can also complain to a data protection authority: the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands, the Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu in Türkiye, or the authority where you live.

Bekleme listesine katıldığınızda topladığımız veriler
- E-posta adresiniz (zorunlu).
- Geldiğiniz bağlantıda varsa kampanya etiketleri (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign).
- Katıldığınız tarih ve saat.
Veriler bu sayfadaki form aracılığıyla elektronik ortamda toplanır. Form cihazınızdan başka bir bilgi okumaz. Site çerez kullanmaz.
Ana sayfayı açtığınızda
Tarayıcınız Google'dan (bekleme listesini de saklayan Firebase) ve Tailwind CSS içerik ağından dosya indirir. Her web sitesinde olduğu gibi, bu dosyaları gönderebilmek için IP adresinizi görürler. Firebase'in kodu ayrıca kendi sürümüne ait küçük bir teknik kaydı tarayıcınızın depolama alanında tutar.
Ana sayfada ayrıca Cloudflare Web Analytics çalışır ve ziyaretleri toplu olarak sayar: hangi sayfaların açıldığı, hangi ülkeden, hangi siteden gelindiği ve ne tür bir tarayıcı ve cihaz kullanıldığı. Çerez kullanmaz, tarayıcınızda bir şey saklamaz ve sizi siteler ya da ziyaretler arasında izlemez. Cloudflare, betiğini gönderebilmek için IP adresinizi görür ama sizi tanımak için kullanmaz. Biz yalnızca toplamları görürüz, tek tek ziyaretleri görmeyiz. Gizlilik bildirimi sayfası ise üçüncü taraflardan hiçbir şey yüklemez.
Amaç ve hukuki sebep
- Sizi HiFi Union betasına davet etmek ve HiFi Union yayına girdiğinde haber vermek.
- Ziyaret toplamları, sayfayı kaç kişinin bulduğunu ve nereden geldiğini görmek için.
Bekleme listesi için hukuki sebep, listeye katılırken verdiğiniz açık rızanızdır (KVKK m. 5/1; GDPR m. 6/1-a). Rızanızı istediğiniz zaman geri alabilirsiniz. Ziyaret toplamları için hukuki sebep, sayfanın nasıl kullanıldığını sizi tanımayan bir biçimde öğrenmekteki meşru menfaatimizdir (KVKK m. 5/2-f; GDPR m. 6/1-f).
Aktarım
Bekleme listesini bizim adımıza veri işleyen olarak Google (Firebase) saklar; veriler Türkiye ve AB dışında da işlenebilir. Ziyaret toplamlarını bizim adımıza veri işleyen olarak Cloudflare üretir. Verilerinizi satmıyor ve başka kimseyle paylaşmıyoruz.
Saklama süresi
Silinmesini isteyene ya da bekleme listesi kapanana kadar; en fazla HiFi Union'ın herkese açık yayınından sonraki 12 ay.
Haklarınız
KVKK m. 11 uyarınca verilerinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme, bilgi isteme, işlenme amacını ve aktarıldığı kişileri öğrenme, düzeltilmesini ya da silinmesini isteme, itiraz etme ve zararın giderilmesini isteme haklarınızı hello@hifiunion.app adresine yazarak kullanabilirsiniz. En geç 30 gün içinde yazılı olarak cevap veririz. Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu'na şikâyette de bulunabilirsiniz.
